Error Issue:

  1. Ground Fault Indicated
  2. Detector Fault Indicated
  3. Node Fault Indicated
  4. Zone Fault Indicated

Note: Between 60-70 indicative of a fault on the main panel

Solution Resulting:

1. Ground Fault possibilities as:

  • Cable installation is not feasible
  • Component on a circuit leak to the grounding
  • Detector unit that is not good.

2. Detector Fault possibly because :

Note: Some types of detector unit consists of a temperature sensor and smoke sensor.
Detector Fault may occur due to several factors, among others:
  • Damage the temperature sensor,
  • Damage the smoke sensor.
  • Damage the detector unit adresser.
Note: If one of the three factors above problems, it will display a fault on the detector concerned.

3. Node Fault possibly because:

Node Fault Causes:
  • The problem occurs in the "zone", may be one or more.

Zone Fault causes:
  • There is a detector that does not work properly,
  • Looping connection is not good,

5. Detector Units Address not detect.

The things that cause the detector undetected address is:
  • Detector unit is damaged, this damage consists of:
    • Component damage addresser
    • The unit is not installed correctly or tight
  • Address detector unit has not been embedded in the configuration settings in the software system.
Note: 
  • Configuration on the unit is fixed and can not be changed, the change can only be done by entering the system configuration can be done by the makers of the device, in this case is the Consilium.
  • The example in this case is on dzone 6, the existing configuration is numbered 5 address, but as many as 10 units installed detector. The system will detect that the advantages of the detector unit is a mistake.

Action Taken:

1. To resolve the issue Ground Fault

  • Checks carried out on:
    • Cable instalation,
    • Circuit in unit Main Control Panel, Annunciator Unit, and Sub Control Panel,
    • All Unit Detector.
  • Result: Ground fault problem is finished

2. To resolve the issue Detector Fault, Zone Fault, Node Fault Indicator

  • Check carried out on:
    • The first checks we did in real terms, ie by spraying smoke into the smoke detector unit.
    • And heat at a temperature detector
    • To call point unit, by pressing the ON switch.
Our first conclusion is:
    • Replacing some units detector (smoke and heat detectors)
    • Replacing some units call point

  • Result :
    • Some units still fault. Explanation of the problem: 
      • As already explained above that: in a single detector unit consists of 3 factors, consists of the smoke sensor, temperature sensor section, and address regulatory part. 
      • At first checking "only" by the method of heating the unit and spraying smoke in the unit. Regardless of address settings. So it still appears fault caused no address detection unit. As follow:

    • Collecting detector units are still legible address (There are about 45 old detector from warehouse).
